Back from a long baby nap

Greetings once again! It's been like a month since I've posted, but as you can guess, taking care of a baby who doesn't nap except for 40 minutes in my arms does not leave much time for blogging.
Today was a good day though, finally getting him to nap a couple of times in his crib. He's been sleeping in it fine at night for the last few weeks, and generally sleeps for 6 to 10 hours during the night which is great! But I still have to get up to pump (breastfeeding) during the night so I haven't slept more than 5 hours or so. This has been the most stressful and difficult things I've ever done (harder than student teaching) but it is finally becoming rewarding as he is smiling and becoming more engaged with us and the world. I can really sympathize with those parents who were not blessed with an "angel baby" as taking care of a needy one is exhausting. Don't be surprised if my next post is a lament about how he is not sleeping again.
Until then, I am off to watch the finale of Lost. Oh, I wish that show would be on every week, as I am going to miss those characters until next year!
