Wordful Wednesday: King Kong and The Omen

I'm a little late today, due to a visit from Grandma, but I wanted to post the latest photos of SoJo, I mean, little King Kong.
He loves the baby gate, especially clutching it and rattling it. All we need is a mini Jessica Lange (or Naomi Watts) for him to hold. He does a funny little march too, jumping from foot to foot while holding the bars.
And of course, Oscar the cat is in the photo. He's always lurking in the corners of our pictures.

This shot makes me laugh, particularly Soren's eyes. He looks like Damien from The Omen.
Despite an attempt to use the red eye reduction tool, which made it look worse, I just couldn't get rid of demon-eyes. I think I should be the one with demon-eyes, since I'm still not getting a full night of sleep.

And Mr. SoJo took his first unassisted steps yesterday. He actually ran, rather than walked! Maybe it was just to avoid falling, but at 8 months old, I'm both impressed and terrified.

  3. Awesome photos and captions. Your cat is lovely. :) My oldest did not walk until literally his birthday then all he did was run. However my twins walked at 8 months. They were so premature I was told not to expect them to walk until they were around 15 months, so needless to say I was not thrilled as I already had a running toddler. ;)
