Wordful Wednesday: That Day Has Arrived

It's finally happened...
SoJo is walking! It's both exciting and frightening. He was showing off for GG (my mom), but he's taken off with sheer joy, shuffling all the way across the living room on his own.

He occassionally takes a tumble
But is back up in no time, as long as there's something or someone to grab onto to hoist himself up again.

I can say with certainty that he's so much happier now. He's been sleeping through the night again and is laughing and having fun. This kid has wanted to stand and walk since he was 3 months old, when he wanted you to stand him on your lap when holding him.

Go SoJo, Go!

  2. Well now the fun begins. Mine has been walking since she was 8 months old. Now she runs, jumps, climbs and sometimes it is hard to catch her even on her 10 inch legs! LOL! Cute pics!

  9. Oh, phew!
    Go little man!
Please video some of his frankenstien steps!
I remember when Jojo took his first steps. My dad was there and he said, "He looks drunk!" Actually, he did.
I had a "born walker" too! Actually both of the, but Jojo was far more ornery before he got his, uh, sea legs?

That is so great that he is sleeping now, that makes up for your long days of constant vigilance that are in store.
