Calling all Cobwebs

Coming up during the first week of March, I'm hosting Green and Clean Week here at Katydid and Kid.
All week long (March 1-7) there will be tips and tricks on making your cleaning routine a little more eco-friendly. And of course there will be some Green & Clean giveaways too! If you're interested in sharing a post (either new or from your archives), feel free to leave a comment here. I'd love to hear your ideas and recipes for green cleaning.

Also, if you'd like to post my button on your site (for extra entries in the contests) the code is on the left. I'd appreciate the publicity!

Yay! Looking forward to the green tips ~ I've been meaning to ask. Probably a stupid question...I've heard that 3% solution hydrogen peroxide is considered a green cleaner {for sterilizing as opposed to bleach}. Is that true??

We use products that you can "eat". They don't have all the flowery smells but our house is clean and we do not suffer the harshness of chemicals. Although I have a mold problem in my shower that must be attacked with bleach 4 times a year. There is an excellent book avaiable for Organic Cleaning and the recipes to make products.

Hey- Great idea (and very cute blog!)! I did a post last week on using and making wool dryer balls: http://mamakenzstudio.blogspot.com/2009/02/i-made-dryer-balls.html, and this week I plan on doing a more in-depth post on using less chemicals in your laundry. Just thought I would let you know! Looking forward to the green cleaning week!

I wanted to let you know that your spring cleaning carnival will be featured on the other blog I write for, www.5minutesforgoinggreen.com, some time next week! Hope it helps spread the word!
