Radius Toothbrush Review/Giveaway

I'm a bit obsessive about many things in my life, like making sure the tablecloth lines up just so, and the bed is made in the morning. I'm also a bit of a nut about my teeth, maybe because I dread the dentist and want to keep my visits there to a minimum. So I am borderline-compulsive about brushing and flossing everyday.

It's not often is my brushing ritual shaken up with something new, and in this case, a completely new kind of toothbrush, from a company called Radius.

These unique toothbrushes are made in the very same town that I live in, within a walking distance of my house. I only found out the company a few years ago when the roof was blown off the factory during a freak storm that no authority will admit was a mini-tornado.

But I digress. Before trying this toothbrush, I never considered that the brush head is awfully small, which can make it more difficult to clean the surfaces in your mouth. Radius toothbrushes are unique in that the brush head has 65% more bristle tufts than a typical toothbrush. When I brush with it, it's so much easier to clean your teeth and gums, and it's very soft on my mouth.

And it comes in so many cool colors! I love the design of the handle too.

I tried the Source toothbrush, which has replaceable heads and a recycled handle.
I have the toothbrush with the recycled wood fiber handle, but you can also get one made from recycled dollar bills or flax. The handle itself is ergonomic, which makes it very easy to hold, and you can switch the replaceable head to make it a left or right handed brush.

Rather than throwing the entire brush in the landfill when you're done with it, the Source toothbrush has replaceable heads, which result in 7% of the toothbrush being wasted as compared to 100% of ordinary toothbrushes.
This is honestly the best toothbrush I've ever used. It just feels that great in my mouth!

Radius also makes silk dental floss, which is actual silk with a beeswax coating.
I'll have to pick up some of that on one of my next walks. I'm obsessive about flossing, remember? I go through a lot of it, and how great to find out that there's an eco-friendlier option.
