Betty Crocker's The Mixer Giveaway

I enjoy cooking, and think I'm pretty darned good at it, but I do enjoy watching cooking shows to perfect my techniques. Betty Crocker has launched a new online cooking club called The Mixer that can help you feel a little more adept at kitchen creativity.

When you sign up for FREE at The Mixer online, you get to interact LIVE with Betty Crocker Kitchens experts and other "classmates" while learning more about cooking. I've always needed help with some simple things like keeping my pancakes and scrambled eggs from sticking (Mr. Geek is the breakfast cook in our house), so I'll have to tune in.

Each week for six weeks, The Mixer will feature a new class filled with recipe demos, tips & techniques, flavor secrets and more.

  • Week #2 (this week)- Pastabilities
  • Week #3 - Greens with Envy (salads)
  • Week #4 - Viva Tortilla (going beyond the taco)
  • Week #5 - Wok it Out (Asian flair)
  • Week #6 - Small Bites-Big Flavors (Dips and appetizers with low calories)

Live Classes are held three times a week, which are the times when you're able to chat.

  • Tuesdays 7 p.m. ET
  • Wednesdays 9 p.m. ET
  • Saturdays 4 p.m. ET

What a great way to add to your recipe box and incorporate some new favorites into your weekly meals. For details and to register go here.

To get you started, Betty Crocker is offering...
{{{A Betty Crocker
Cooking Essentials Gift Basket!!}}}
which includes a spatula, measuring spoons and cups, mixing spoon, whisk, liquid measuring cup and a Betty Crocker Magazine.

To Enter:
1. Visit Betty Crocker's The Mixer and leave a comment about which class most interests you.
2. Make sure your email address is in the comment or is easily accessible via your profile or blog itself. I need a way to contact you!

Extra Entries
(leave a separate comment for each one):
This giveaway is for US postal addresses only.

You must do the first two things in order to enter ("I want to win, thanks!" comments will NOT be considered). You will have until Sunday April 26th at 11:59pm EST to enter. The winners will be chosen via random number generator the next day and notified by email. I'll also post the winners on my blog. If I don't hear back from the winner by Thursday at noon, I'll pick another.

Thanks to My Blog Spark for this delicious opportunity to review The Mixer!

I like the tips and techniques because even though I have been cooking for a long, long time, you can always learn a quick tip or technique that you have never tried before. Thanks for sponsoring.
