Castle Baths Natural Bath and Spa Products {Giveaway}

Moms, I'm sure you find it hard to pamper yourself, especially if you have toddlers or infants in tow. When is there time to head out for a spa day? Honestly, I've never even had a massage or indulged in a facial or manicure (um, I bite my nails--gross, yes), but I do try and treat myself to things that I can do in my home, like using aromatherapy soaps and lotions, and giving myself a foot massage on occasion.

I recently received a package from Castle Baths Natural Bath and Spa Products to try out. The cute spa gift basket they sent me

contained a bottle of Passion Massage Oil ($14.95)

and a bottle of the Passion Body Lotion Mist ($17.95)

which came in a lovely aluminum bottle, which I'm guessing can be recycled. I also was sent some sample scents to smell their other blends. During SoJo's naptime, I decided to take a little pampering break by rubbing the massage oil onto my feet (reviews are hard work, right?) and soften my tired toes.

To be honest, the Passion scent isn't my favorite of their blends (just a matter of personal taste), possibly because I'm not too fond of rose. The addition of sandalwood and lavender was nice though, and would be equally appealing to both men and women, because it's more masculine smelling than just plain rose. I'm sure my husband and I will break out the Passion massage oil for Valentine's Day :). He's a big fan of sandalwood and a fine incense junkie, so this scent is perfect for him.
I loved smelling the samples (kind of like an aromatherapy exercise in itself), and my favorite is definitely the Jubilee, a blend of bergamot and grapefruit. And I must say that the spray lotion was great, not greasy but soft on my dry skin. The scent was not overpowering either.

Castle Baths uses all-natural ingredients that are handmade-to-order (ie. fresh) and nearly entirely vegan (the goats milk soap isn't). Their cruelty-free items are created with certified organic and wild-crafted ingredients, which in my mind, makes purchasing their items guilt-free.
They're also a Christian business, and their beliefs permeate their customer service philosophy.
