Horizon Organic Chocolate Milk {Giveaway+2 Winners}

When SoJo started drinking milk after I weaned him, I was determined to only give him organic milk. While it's more expensive than the typical milk that you find in the grocery store, I feel that my son's health is worth the cost, and I don't want to add any of the antibiotics and growth hormones (that are given to the cows, not put in the milk) that are found in most brands of milk to his growing body.

One of the brands we regularly buy is Horizon Organic Whole Milk. We were given an opportunity to try the Horizon Organic Lowfat Chocolate Milk and SoJo is a big fan. He's a budding chocoholic, so I think that he would eat even a piece of broccoli dipped in chocolate (I really should try that).
I tried a sip too (I've never been a milk drinker, even as a kid) and the chocolate taste was good, not chalky or artificial tasting, since they use real cocoa. They also add DHA to the mix for an extra does of Omega 3s.
The Horizon Organic website has much more info on their products, including coupons. Though I wish the website wasn't as busy and video-oriented. It froze my computer at one point, and I find it hard to look around with that choppy video playing in the background.

Horizon Organic is offering 2 K&K readers
2 Half Gallons of Horizon Organic Lowfat Chocolate Milk

Organic milks is the way to go. I agree that buying organic food is quite expensive than their regular counterparts but yes, we have to put health (ours and our kids) on top of everything.

The DHA and Omega 3 make this milk better than the rest also! Good luck to your winner

I only give my daughter organic milk, and love this brand. I learned that there are COUPONS on the website if you sign up! I'm going to do that this weekend, because organic is more expensive but in my opinion SO worth it. I'm always on the lookout for good deals on it. Thanks for the chance!

I don't know if they carry all of these products in my home state; I have seen the milk before. I have always wanted to try the single serving chocolate milk for my kids lunches. But Jojo claims to not like chocolate.

I learned DHA belongs to a category of healthy fatty acids known as Omega-3's. Found in high concentrations in the tissues of the brain and eye, DHA Omega-3 is thought to help support healthy function in these areas.
