hat.a.girl {giveaway}

I'm not a sun worshipper in any sense of the word. Gone are the days of smearing baby oil on my bod and laying out with my cousin on her roof to get a tan (or more accurately, burn). Though I love a sunny day, I can't stand being out in the sun now, allowing my skin to bake and wrinkle in the harsh rays. My fair skin just doesn't like the sun much so I've taken to wearing hats when I'm outside for long periods of time.

I was searching for a packable, crush-proof hat to take with me on vacation and came across hat.a.girl, a great site with all kinds of hats.
With a cute name like hat.a.girl, I knew I'd stumbled upon a new favorite resource for my head.
I was sent a Ribbon Crusher travel hat, which is rated with an SPF 50+ and comes in a variety of styles, brim sizes and colors. I chose a brown hat with a 5.5" brim, since I'm partial to that color and like the floppy look of Annie Hall.
I like how flexible it is and how you could bend the brim in different ways.
I folded and crumpled this hat in a number of ways and it still held its shape when unfolded, which would make it great for packing in your suitcase for a trip to the beach or amusement park.
I've worn it walking and it's comfortable and lightweight. I've even stuck it in my pocket. Depending on how wide the brim is, you may have some trouble keeping it on your head in a windy situation, but that's true of any large-brimmed hat.
What's really great about hat.a.girl is the cost of their hats. They're so affordable! My hat cost just $21, and the range of the ribbon crusher series is roughly $15-$25, which is a great deal considering how stylish and portable these hats are.
