kidz gear kids' headphones {giveaway}

Do your kid struggle with keeping ear buds in their ears? If you have a DVD player in your car, you might like the peace and quiet that a good pair of headphones brings--I mean, how many times do you have to hear Shrek say "Donkey!"

Look no further than Kidz Gear, makers of headphones sized especially for kids. Created by a mom and manufactured with the same high quality components as those used in standard adult headphones, the Kidz Gear headphones are compatible with DVD players, gaming systems, car stereo systems and MP3 players.

Kidz Gear makes both wired ($16.99 on sale) and wireless car headphones ($29.99 on sale), both of which have been exciting for SoJo to use.
It's his first "real"headphone experience, and we can't wait to take these on the plane with us. After all, many (if not all?) airlines charge you to rent headphones from them, so it's best to bring your own. We've tried ear buds on him but his little ears just aren't quite big enough yet. He tends to tug at the ear buds or they just fall out.

I've used the wired headphones myself when watching something online and not wanting to wake up S when he's sleeping or disturb my husband if he's working on the computer. They are adjustable and can fit both larger and smaller heads.

Kidz Gear's Wireless Car Headphones have a wireless transmitter ($14.99) that works with built-in car DVD/sound systems.
You'll need to buy a seperate transmitter for them, which is unfortunate--I hope they eventually include it with the headphones, even at a higher cost. Overall, I'm really impressed with this product and know that it will be enjoyable and helpful to our family.

I probably need to get some of those for the kids this year. Perhaps it would keep them from arguing so much in the car… whoops, I guess not the wireless ones, then!

I like that they fit over a little person's ears! I've been thinking about getting some for my 1 1/2 year old daughter for plane rides. She loves Toy Story! :)

My little one has a really hard time keeping earphones on when using his dvd player or iPod Touch.

These look great!

These are a great idea. I like the fact that they limit the volume to protect the child's hearing.

They also sell a Splitter Cable so that two children can use headphones to one player.

This would be great for my daughters.
