As mentioned above, Quorn products are meat and soy-free and are actually made from fungi (think mushrooms and truffles). Quorn products are high in protein and low and fat, and they're the #1 retail brand of meat-free products in the world. I can honestly say that Quorn products are my favorite vegetarian meat substitutes.
We like how chewy and, dare I say it, meaty--these taste. They're a welcome change from the usual veggie burger suspects in the freezer. They're delicious either fried in a pan or grilled,
and eaten like a traditional burger or just with avocado, tomato, and a little ketchup.
It makes a quick and easy lunch, especially when I feel like I've run out of creative options in the meal-planning department.
I also added some diced up Quorn Cheese Burger onto a taco salad. We'll definitely be having this again for lunch or dinner.
I didn't really find that the Cheese Burgers tasted all that different from the Classic Burgers. Still, both the Cheese Burger and Classic Burger varieties were yummy, and at 100 and 90 calories per burger, respectively, they're a win/win for those watching their waistlines.
Look for Quorn's new Classic Burgers and Cheese Burgers as well as other Quorn products in the frozen foods section of your grocery store.
WIN IT!

Oh my goodness, the Cranberry & Goat Cheese Chik'n Cutlet sounds incredible. I've never seen that at my grocery store, however. We just have the plain chik'n breasts and nuggets. Sigh.
