Baby Month: Create Your Own Book from Blurb {Giveaway}

Yet another of my favorite, favorite things are the photo books that we created via Blurb, an amazing company that publishes very reasonably priced, professional books all based on your own creations.  Whether you create a straight-up photo book like I've done, or trick it out will stories, text, or even recipes, you won't be disappointed with what you receive.  The quality of their hardcover books is top-notch, and everyone we've shown these books to has immediately been impressed and curious about where we had them made.

Blurb has their own software, called Booksmart, which one downloads and uses to make your book.  It's extremely easy to use, though I must warn you, it's addictive! I think I've spent quite a few hours making the 2 books we've thus far created for S, chronicling his first few years of life.  And I didn't even add any text!

You basically upload your photos and drag and drop them wherever you like, using a variety of different layouts.  Really, it's so easy to use and play around with.

I love the size of the books I chose to make, a compact 7"x7" and I especially like the image-wrap covers.

Using Blurb's Booksmart software, one can even create a book from your blog, which would be really cool.

I have a desire to one day compile a book of recipes from the ones I've posted on my blog. I'd love to turn it into an heirloom that I could pass along to my children, and Blurb books certainly will withstand the test of time--they're so well made.  I'll definitely be adding more volumes to our "Little Book of Soren" series, as well as starting one for the new baby.
