It's Unofficially Summer

Muddling through these few hot days has been rough on me, so Soren and I made our first trip to the beach this season.
We spent the day mostly at my parents' house in Delaware, swimming in the neighborhood pool and digging in sand along the bay.
In the evening, we headed to Ocean City, MD with GG (my mom) and strolled the boardwalk and beach.
Ice cream was in order, complete with drippy sprinkles
as were a few rides on some of the boardwalk amusements.  My son looks so serious, but I assure you he had a good time.
My brothers and I loved riding these sort of cars at our local amusement park growing up.
It was an exhilarating and exhausting few days, especially that I'm in the last weeks of my pregnancy.
But I still want to try and get out and do things this summer.  With a baby, I'm sure it's going to be harder than it is just with a baby belly.

You POOR THING...I can't imagine how uncomfortable you must be, so close to the end in this heat! It must have felt so nice to be in the sea breeze!

You look completely adorable in that sun hat, by the way. :)

I love your glamorous hat! I wish we could've met up with you at the beach. Maybe one of these days it will work out. SoJo looks so grown up.

Tee looks real serious in a lot of her pictures, too. I know it was hot but I can still tell y'all were having a nice time.

I also love your hat. :) I am sure visiting the beach would wipe me out, especially at the final stretch of pregnancy when it doesn't take much to zap your (my) energy. It does look wonderful, though! I try to manage to take Kidoodle out to the pool at least twice a week, especially since it is IN our apartment complex!

I'm so thrilled that you and the little man got to go and enjoy yourselves, especially like you said since it's towards the end of your pregnancy :)

It looks like you guys had a fun time!! I love the ice cream picture-He looks quite intense with his sprinkled ice cream. LOL

Oh you poor dear!!! Looks as if it's about time to walk that baby out(the only way I could ever get mine to drop); so walking the boardwalks was probably wonderful for you, eh? My sons were always serious on those rides too because they were busy trying to figure out how they worked-ha!!!

Blessings and happy labor vibes being sent your way!!!!

Peace~
