Baby Spice

We're in the throes of teething or something else troublesome for Jude this week. His disposition has been cranky, which is so unusual for him.  I find myself carrying him around the house to console him, since he's unwilling to nap this morning, even though he's tired.

One of his favorite corners of our home is the pantry.  All of those spices, jars and boxes are irresistible to him.
Just a simple visit to the pantry door brings smiles to my little guy's face, which is especially comforting knowing that just moments before, he was shedding tears.
He loves pulling out the jars, boxes and containers, and even trying to gum the metal rack, doing "pull-ups" while trying to pull himself closer to the chrome bars.  Anything to give his little gums some relief.

Teethies, please hurry and break through and bring back my happy babe!

Try some Hyland's Teething Gel...have you used it? I think it helps Lloyd, but it's hard to tell. He's never been THAT fussy over teeth.

He is so cute!

For teething I use Camilia - a natural product. I find it really helps Quentin.

It's been so long since my kids were in that stage that I couldn't give you any advice. But I do remember the tears and crankiness that came with it. Poor guy, hopefully he gets relief soon.

You got some vanilla extract on the rack? I used to rub Jayden's gums with that and the Hyland's teething tabs. Jayden had very little discomfort when he teethed and once the first two came in, they all just shot up.

Sidenote: I don't know what it is, maybe it's the weather change, but Jayden has been so cranky and out of control all week. I'm talking screeching tantrums. What gives?

How cute! Yesterday I handed our miniature guitar over to Kitten baby. He was so enthralled: he pulled the strings, and it made music! Jude looks similarly entranced with all those jars and containers.
