Jude at Ten Months

Our everlasting baby is doing well, crawling around, exploring the house that he previously only saw via his parents arms or in a seat.
Every day he's looking more and more like his Dada, though I'm still holding out hope that he'll retain that reddish tint to his hair, just like his Mama's.
At ten months, Jude is still toothless, but will gnaw just about anything, even pizza crusts and pretzels broken into small pieces.  Oh, and ice cream.  He devours it, and pounds the table for more.  Yeah, I'm more lax with feeding treats early on to Kid B than I was with Kid A.

He loves to play, and is a big fan of opening and closing doors, as well as pulling things out of drawers.
One of his favorite activities is playing with "big boy" toys next to his brother on the floor.
In fact, he is SO enamored of Soren, and loves being around him.  He laughs and smiles whenever S is clowning around (uh, like all the time) and misses him when he's at school.  I don't think Jude likes or is accustomed to a quiet house.

Like many babies, Jude loves to be outdoors and instantly stops fussing if I bring him outside, even for just a few minutes.
I love watching his personality emerge bit by bit, day by day.  What a gift we receive as parents, being able to witness the story of our children's lives unfold!

  1. It is so sweet to see how your boys play together. And it looks like Jude is fascinated by "big people" cups...Colter can't get enough of them either!

  2. If it's even possible he's getting cuter and cuter every month-Heck, everyday! :)

  3. Seeing your two boys together reminds me so much of my first two boys at that age. My middle son adored and idolized his big brother and always tried to keep up with him. They're now 19 and 15 and I catch glimpses of those days every once in a while still. Boys are the best and will be the best of friends as they get older. So, so sweet. : )
