The Children's Brewing Company

In our town, we have a tavern and brewery that we occasionally nosh at.  While waiting for our meals to arrive, Chris and I often walk Soren around the mash kettles and fermentation tanks, which are right inside the restaurant.

This morning, while busily working with Legos, Soren presented us with his very own Brewery.
Despite it being, well, a replica of an alcohol manufacturing facility, it's really impressive, for a 4 year old amateur Lego enthusiast.

I'm surprised at how accurate it was, especially since we haven't been there in a few months.  He got the lab-looking area right, with its glass windows, "mechanical stuff" and pipes.
It yet more proof that kids are paying attention to EVERYTHING.  Kind of scary, huh?

I love how focused SoJo is when he's with his Legos; frankly it's the only toy that gets more than a few minutes of play.  I half-joke to Chris that we should just toss everything but the Legos.  I don't think anyone would mind.  Except Jude, who's a fan of just dumping bins of toys and not playing with them.

So onto brewing what Soren deems "Grandpa's Beer."  Since of course he's the one that drinks the most of it, according to a certain 4 year old.   Sorry, Dad.

  3. Wow, that is very impressive for S man! I'm in awe at his creativity and focus-I'm 22 and I probably couldn't remember anything like that. LOL
