Rock-a-bye Baby...Way Cool Lullabys

If your child likes music and you just can't stand to listen to Raffi or The Wiggles, then the Rock-a-Bye Baby series is for you. They are lullaby versions of songs by popular musicians like The Beatles, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, and The Pixies, among many others. My husband ordered me two from Amazon, The Cure and Radiohead, and I think I love them more that SoJo does. We play them at night and before naps to wind him down to sleep, and I confess it's often hard for me to keep my eyes open. The Radiohead one is especially nice, as it sounds like a lot of the melodies are played by a xylophone. The funniest one has to be the Nine Inch Nails version, which includes "Closer." I just can't imagine singing along to Soren "I want to @$%* you like an animal." Pretty weird huh?

If you want to get your hands on a copy, head to Amazon or to Rockabye Baby's website.
