SkinFree Natural Skin Care {Giveaway}

Since my 20s, I've been very careful about what I put on my skin and how I protect it. Watching a certain family member tan herself to the texture of a shriveled sweet potato has made me extra careful about caring for my skin, including using as many natural products as possible.

I tried the Extra Moisturizing Soap and Shampoo Bar with great results.

It contains extra virgin olive oil, shea butter and cocoa butter, which left my skin feeling soft and supple, not dried out like some soaps do. It works well on hair too, though it takes a little more time to lather through your mane than liquid shampoo.

After using the soap on my face, I also tried the Lite Moisture for Blemish Prone Skin, which had a pleasant vanilla scent. I liked how this worked too, not too greasy, and a little goes a long way. I tend to get a pimple or two around my period, so it's nice to use a moisturizer that doesn't clog the pores or sit too heavily on the face.

And finally, a product especially helpful for summer, the Sweet and Smooth Sugar Scrub.

This was great on smoothing out my rough feet (I go barefoot whenever I can and have the tough soles to prove it) and I like that it left my skin soft and moisturized after using it, which I attribute to the olive and almond oils. It's even gentle enough to use on your face. The only issue I ran into involved the ants that have been shacking up in our house---they like it too. I have to put it in a ziplock bag after using it, because they are still attracted to the sugar even when I clean the outside. Go figure.
