weleda regenerating pomegranate body care {giveaway}

As a parent, I'm often stressed by the pressures of raising a child, managing a home, and maintaining a happy and vibrant family life. Lack of a second income prevents me from indulging myself in spa treatments or relaxing getaways, so when I want to unwind, I often look to a hot shower and a simple foot massage done with my own hands.

Rather than slather on a cheap, drugstore product, I prefer to splurge a little on some finer body care items. I love Weleda's new line of Pomegranate Regenerating Body Care products.
Made with natural ingredients, including 100% organic pomegranate seed oil which is rich in anti-oxidents (which are great for the skin). The smell of the Pomegranate Creamy Body Wash ($18) is lovely and light. I like how, unlike many bath gels, the Creamy Body Wash is lotion-like and really softens my skin.
Infused with the pure essential oils of vanilla, blood orange and neroli blended with organic pomegranate and macadamia seed oils, it's a pleasure to use in the bath.

I also tried out the Pomegranate Body Oil ($28), which has been great on my feet and neck.
I've been using it on my body before bed and unlike other oil blends, I find that this one is very light and not so, well, oily! Other oils I've used tend to get all over my clothes and is hard to wash off my palms, but the Pomegranate Body Oil is absorbed quickly into my skin, rather than just sitting on top of it. And just a little bit goes a long way. I've noticed a big difference in my feet and hands, in only just a week of use. The smell is wonderful too, from the essential oils which are nice but not overpowering.

In addition to the Body Wash and Body Oil, Weleda has a Pomegranate Rejuvenating Hand Cream ($12.50), which I have not tried out. But I imagine that it's as wonderful as the other products in the line.
Weleda makes so many other great products, including a line of baby care items (their Calendula diaper care cream is the best!). You can find many of their products at Target too, and there are often special offers on Weleda's website.
