Nursery Details (and a Plea for Votes)

So far, Jude and I have been enjoying the lovely nursery in the form of diaper changes, though I expect naps to come soon.  He's still not on any kind of predictable sleep pattern. and we co-sleep at night since it's quite convenient for nursing and for mama's rest.

Oddly enough, I think the nursery decor is what gets me though the nighttime diapering; it's really a pleasure to spend time in that room, despite the lack of sleep.  It's great that all the diapering supplies are close at hand, and that the dresser is a good height for standing and changing Jude.
I wanted to share a few details about the room, since some of you had asked where I purchased some of the items.

  • Dresser and Wardrobe: Argington, a US company based in Brooklyn.  Their furniture is made from wood harvested responsibly from sustainable forests

  • Rocker: Eames reproduction from Baxton Studio
  • Turquoise garden stool: repurposed from our front porch
ARTWORK
  • Prints above the rocker: ZukZuk on Etsy
  • Animal hooks: P'Kolino
  • Bird mobile: Repurposed from our playroom, from at Eeboo
  • Quilt: Made by me
  • Mobile: made by me

ACCESSORIES
  • Toy/laundry basket: Ten Thousand Villages (with liner sewn by me)
  • Changing pad cover: SkipHop Treetop Friends collection
  • Crib sheet: Dwell Studio for Target Menagerie
  • Rabbit doll from BlaBla Kids (already had on hand)
  • Lighting: IKEA

  •  Rug: Overstock.com
  • Curtains: Repurposed from our last apartment: roller shade covered with fabric that I had on hand.
Now that you know the scoop on all the things in the room, I'm pleading for your votes again for my nursery.  You can vote everyday, and each week one random entrant will win a $200 gift card.  At the end of the voting period, another voter will win a $500 gift card, so it's definitely worth entering, not just for me!  Though I'm really hoping to win that $3000 prize for Jude's college fund.  Thanks so much!

    1. The crib was one we purchased in 2008 from Babies R Us. I don't think they carry it anymore. I think it's the Jardine Claremont Convertible Crib. Hope that helps!
