Back to School with Kohl's (#Spon)

This post is from a campaign I participated in on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Kohl’s. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
As the mom to a soon-to-be Kindergartener, this feels like my first official initiation into the world of back-to-school shopping.  Where does one begin?  Do you buy a few summer things on clearance to get through the first few weeks? Or stock up on pants and long sleeves for the months to come?  I'm a bit overwhelmed.

Either way, the main place that I tend to shop for kids is Kohl's.  The quality of their clothing, as well as the appealing designs (you're not just stuck with cartoon-branded items, though you can buy them there too) keep me coming back whenever we're in need of a new wardrobe for our growing eldest son (the younger one thankfully is stocked with hand-me-downs).  The shorts and pants that Soren wears are almost exclusively from Kohl's, and barring him outgrowing them, they can last for years.

From my past experience with Kohl's, they have awesome prices and deals, especially if you use their Kohl's card, where you get regular coupons in the mail, sometimes for up to 30% off your entire purchase (even sale items).  They also do a cash back program every so often, where you get $10 Kohl's Cash coupons for every $50 you spend, to use on a future purchase.

Over the past few years, I've found so many deals on many brand-name items at Kohl's, including a Simply Vera Vera Wang dress for a wedding, a set of Cuisinart pots, Keurig K-cups, and New Balance sneakers, to name a few, all of which I found at great prices.

I'm eager to dig into some bargains for my son in the next week or two.  I'm sure with $100, I'll be able to get a bagful of great clothes for him, a backpack, and maybe even something for myself.

Do you shop at Kohl's?  Stay tuned to see what I found for 100 bucks.
