Some Cool Items by Genius Moms

Like many of you, I am addicted to blog giveaways. I check Prizey religiously as well as some other blogs. So far, I've won a few things, but this weekend I won 2 things, both of which I really wanted.

The first one was from Candice of the blog "Mom Most Travelled" which is a great spot to find things to help traveling with a child in tow less stressful. Candice was giving away a Babykeeper by Mommysentials. It is basically a baby carrier that can be hung on the back of a restroom door, making it possible for mama to pee while out at the mall. Check out her lovely review with cute, funny sketches right here. I can't wait to get this, as it is a hip carrier, unlike the Baby Bjorn that I already tote Soso around in. As you may have noticed in earlier posts, this kid does not want to be put down, so I definitely see myself getting a lot of use out of the Babykeeper. Although at this moment, my lower back is killing me (I pulled something this morning when I was getting up out of the chair with Soren after nursing him; I can barely walk now), but I imagine better days when I can wear this.

The second thing I won was a Bath Luve washcloth. But wait...this is no ordinary washcloth. It is fancy-schmancy in that it covers your babe's body while in the tub so s/he doesn't get cold. My little guy shivers in the bath, even with this 90+ degree heatwave we're having, so I can't wait to use this. It comes in three cute designs (fish, duck, frog) and is super-cheap, only $6.99. This would be unique and useful baby shower gift. A high-five to all those ingenious moms out there coming up with new baby products!
