Family Favorite: Putumayo World Music {Giveaway}

We like to think we're a pretty worldly family, even though we've not been around the world much. To compensate, we have decor and toys in our home from other countries, I have quite a few ethnic meals in my food repertoire, and we listen to lots of world music.

Putumayo World Music and Putumayo Kids are our go-to CDs when we're in the mood for just about any kind of folksy music from around the world. My personal favorites are the Dreamland and French Playground CDs, while SoJo of course likes Sesame Playground and Picnic Playground.

Putumayo has just released A Family Christmas, filled with upbeat, traditional Christmas songs sung by artists like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and Leon Redbone.
The tunes are catchy and fun, and would make perfect background music for a holiday party. You can hear some sample tracks on Putumayo's site. I know this CD will be in rotation all month in our home.
